Jharkhand e-Kalyan Scholarship 2025-26: Latest Updates

 The e-Kalyan Scholarship is a flagship initiative by the Department of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority, and Backward Class Welfare, Government of Jharkhand.  It aims to provide financial assistance to students from SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities pursuing education at various levels. 

📅 Application Timeline

Application Start Date: January 11, 2024

Last Date to Apply: March 20, 2025

Correction Window: January 11 to March 20, 2025

Institute Approval Last Date: March 20, 2025

DWOs Verification Last Date: March 20, 2025 

*Note: As of now, there is no official extension of the application deadline. Applicants are advised to complete their applications before the last date.*  Eligibility Criteria

Residency: Permanent resident of Jharkhand.

Category: Belong to SC, ST, OBC, or minority communities.

Educational Qualification: Enrolled in a recognized institution for Pre-Matric (up to 10th) or Post-Matric (11th and above) courses.


Annual Family Income: Not exceeding ₹2.5 lakh for SC/ST/OBC categories.


Other Conditions: Students availing benefits from other scholarship schemes are not eligible.  

💰 Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship amount varies based on the course group and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar:

1. Visit the official e-Kalyan portal: https://ekalyan.cgg.gov.in

2. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.

3. Fill in the application form with accurate details.

4. Upload the required documents:

Recent passport-sized photograph

Caste certificate

Income certificate

Bonafide certificate from the institution

Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination

Bank account details

5. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
